Product Review - Revlon Luxurious Colorsilk Buttercream
I recently needed to try a DIY (dye it yourself) hair product because I did not have enough time to go to the salon and get my hair done and let me tell you I fell in love with this product. I used the Revlon Luxurious Colorsilk Buttercream in the shade 30N Dark Brown. I wasn’t looking for anything special in a product but I needed something that was permanent, would cover some gray hairs (YIKES! :( I know) and finding a product that would add shine as well was a perk.
The instructions are very easy to follow although I do recommend if you have long hair/a lot of hair to have someone help you because I was struggling just a bit making sure I had my entire head covered. I’ve had this coloring on my hair for four weeks now and it still looks freshly done! Also, the conditioner included in this kit also smells amazing and left my hair feeling smooth! I would definitely recommend this product and I cannot wait to use it again!
Step 1: Apply Almay Intense I color Liquid Shadow + Primer for Green Eyes
Step 2: Apply theBalm Meet Matte in Matt Horowitz to your crease and blend
Step 3: Blend a matte brown/grey on lid up into crease
Step 4: Line top lid with Physicians Formula Felt Tip Pen
Step 5: Line bottom waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 liner in black then run Maybelline Master Studio Liner in Sapphire under lower lashline.
Step 6: Add lots of mascara. Today I’m wearing Pop Beauty Lash Kapow + Urban Decay Big Fatty.
Clean up any mistakes with a Q-tip!
